All Saints' Church Sherbourne
All Saints' Sherbourne is a Grade ll* listed building designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in a beautiful Victorian Gothic style. Commissioned by the village patron, Louisa Ryland, in the 1860s, this building brings together the typical Victorian love for the language of flowers, and nature. The stone carvings are beautiful representing many different flowers and plants associated with Christian virtues. Consequently, it is a popular wedding venue.
